Mr. Sean McConnell ... WoW! I LOVE this guy. We found out very last minute that he was playing at Main Street Crossing in Tomball, so of course we wanted to go. Gammie (my mom) watched Dean & we had a quick but wonderful date night. Main Street is a cute venue, very intimate, but I would say that
Dosey Doe is still, by far, my favorite. One of my favorite things about Sean is that he always tells the stories behind the songs, and he is very funny ... he is a very big Believer in God which is apparent in a lot of his music. I can't wait for his next CD to come out. He will be back at Dosey Doe Aug 18; we leave that day for the river for our 4th Annual Friopalooza, but if you have the chance to go, you should definitely go see him!
This man was SO sweet. He had to be 90+ years old. He greeted everyone at the door & was just having a grand ol' time ... I just couldn't help but snap a picture of him.
Last Thursday our little man turned 3 months old! It is strange how time seems to go by so fast & it has already been three months, yet it seems like he has been here forever; I can't imagine life without him!
I LOVE this picture ... he looks like he is being mischevious!
Dean - At three months old, you ...
- still eat every 2-3 hours; however, you may be starting to go through a growth spurt b/c sometimes it is every hour and a half
- go back & forth from sleeping through the night (9p-6a) and getting up once at night (usually betweeen 3a-5a) ... hence possibly a growth spurt!
- are a happy, happy baby! You smile & laugh & babble on & on with me all day long! It brings me so much joy!
- are starting to do a little better with tummy time; you are holding yourself up, but you still do not like it very much ... I hope we are turning a corner with this!
- enjoy the morning time by entertaining yourself with your playmat & singing catepillar
- love your Daddy so much! You get so happy when he comes home & even wake up if you are in your swing when you hear his voice!
- are the apple of my eye!
Peter was off work last Friday, so we packed up & headed to Galveston for the day with Coco. It was an absolultely beautiful day, but Dean didn't care too much for the wind, so we just walked the seawall, shopped & had lunch! Next year he will be running around all over the place!
And, one last picture to leave you with ... Dean with his Aunt Ding Ding (my best friend Lindsey) after Haley's birthday party on Saturday ...
