Six months in ...

Six months in and life as a newlywed is amazing.  Peter & I have had so much fun on this part of our journey.  Things have been crazy, exciting, spontaneous, busy & enlightening.  He is my best friend & I am truly blessed to call him my husband.

Here is a quick rundown of our lives over the past six months to get you caught up:
  • The honeymoon was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!  Antigua is beautiful & the people are extremely friendly.  We would definitely like to make it back one day; seven days just wasn't long enough.
  • We got Cooper, our boxer puppy, a month & a half before we got married & he has become the love our lives.  He is just so happy all the time & keeps us laughing day in & day out.
  • My sister, Cortney, lived with us for the first two month & we definitely miss her company.
  • We love live music & have been able to make it to several concerts ... Zeigenbock Fest, Josh Abbott, Cody Johnson & Josh Abbott again!  Now it is Rodeo season (my favorite time of the year), and we saw Dierks Bentley with Danielle' & Brian and are going to see GARY ALLAN tomorrow with my family!
  • We have watched some of our closest & oldest friends get married ... Congrats Becca & Billy and Kalli & Richard.
  • Several of our friends have gotten engaged ... Congrats Jacoub & Brooke, BJ & Carrie and most recently Dixie & Kevin! AND, we are looking forward to seeing Alison & Ryan get married in May, and Kelly & Kenny get married in July!
  • We have welcomed into the world a couple of babies within our circle of friends ... Jamie Mentlewski & Huntley Scardino ... both of whom are absolutely precious!  Crystal & Blake are expecting Baby Lane any time now, and our cousins Christy & John and Tim & Tabea are both expecting this fall!  We are so excited for all of y'all!
  • We had Peter's family stay with us for a few days before Thanksgiving which was great because we don't get to see them nearly enough.
  • We hosted Christmas Eve for my dad's family & Christmas Day for my mom's family at our house ... I love to host!  It was a very busy few days, but it was such a blessing to have everyone in our home together.
  • And, for the last two months, I have been in busy season which brings us to the reason for this blog ... I feel like I haven't seen anyone in forever!
Needless to say, we have enjoyed our first six months as The Robertson's!
